As I suspected streaming nose this morning :-( lovely just in time for Xmas and to interfere with the Book writing.... hope I can break the back of the cold before Thursday!
There are some small support issues to deal with on Deliver Net this morning and these are swiftly eradicated in time for me to shower up and drive down to Dartford to meet Laing O'Rourke.
The meeting is from 12:00-14:00 and we go through who is IPS and the company background and examples of the use of the system in a similar operation to the one on the table here for the Consolidation Centre.
I finish off by giving them a demo of the system, this is the first time either of them have seen the system and all goes fairly well with some issues coming to the fore but no showstoppers. Time is running out on this project with goods being delivered into the warehouse probably from the 11th of January 2009 and yet no system likely to be in place until the back end of January of the start of February.
Back at the ranch in the afternoon, sort out some of the Blog posts to get bang up to date so I can focus on the task in hand of, Website completion and book writing. Clear out some overdue emails that I needed to respond too also, then off to Asda and get some food and bits and pieces.
Feeling a bit groggy, so I eat something cooked at the weekend and off to bed for an early night!
