A bit of preparation this morning because I'm off to see my new customer in Park Royal. This is a new client with 5 sites in Africa and 1 in the Channel Islands, today is a 'get the project started - kick off meeting'.
I arrive at my clients at 10:00am, I'm the first one there! No one is around, very quiet on the roads as well, London is on holiday me-thinks!
Their office is very cold, the heating has been off since last Wednesday and it has been pretty chilly over the weekend! The Accounts guy and the IT chap are late, so myself and the business owner discuss the project, IPS and ideas on Off shore businesses, very interesting indeed!
The others arrive, and we get into the details on the project, who is the project manager, office locations, information we need etc. etc. The meeting wraps up at 1:00pm.
Back at the ranch a couple of issues have arrived at Deliver Net (my North Yorkshire client) which need my attention, these are soon sorted out.
Back onto the Website now and organising work for my lad. He has managed to get the Blog sorted out with the updates 5 of the 7 steps now completed, hopefully tomorrow all these will be finished and from Thursday I can start to get onto the meat of the book!
Table Tennis practice tonight, looking forward to this, over a week now with no booze at all so I'm feeling pretty energetic and fit! No Xmas excess to work off at all, in fact I think I've lost weight :-)
