Early start this morning one of the new customers I am setting up has a configuration error that I need to sort out. So this needs resolving before the systems start to be used in anger.
We are looking to trademark our product i-Tr@der and caught wind of a contact at Business Link whom can advise on this topic. We get a load of stuff through which I email over to my lad and ask him to print out and bring with him this morning. There are some other i-Trader type names but we should be ok, I'll keep you posted on this one. Hopefully as we are using the i-Tr@der logo as part of the mark that will be fine.
This morning Urfi from friend from Urban Progress TTPro is over to see me. I have called a meeting with him to get an update on what we are doing and also see how all the schools are coming together in our Unit / Hub / Primary school structure. Things are really moving well now and I think the penny is dropping finally about the potential we have here when we get it right and packaged up as a franchise opportunity.
The most exciting thing about what we are doing here with Urban Progress TTPro is possibly introducing a model for any sport in any school and deploying a mechanism for ensuring that professional coaching and tuition is available with funding outside of the beg-steal-borrow cycle we are stuck with in this country. If we could move to something much more professional such as what they have in Australia then the results would be clear for all. Table Tennis has always been an amateur sport in the UK, and our results have also been amateurish. This is not a quick fix but a 15 year program to excellence and I am proud to be an initiator and active partner in the transition!
The WillMeOn campaign moves forward again with the plans for what we will do on the day developing nicely. Should be an interesting and rewarding kick off to what is another massive but exciting project for all those involved.
Table Tennis practice on my own tonight, Roger is tied up with his sons birthday, so I'll go down the club and have a practice with a few of the others and maybe one of the lead coaches.
