A bit of a lethargic start to this morning. One of my Hungarian friends came around last night who I hadn't seen for 3 months (and even then we didn't get a proper chance to chat). So last night I was catching up with all his latest business ventures and stories.
An early Support request is in from Deliver Net. They are sorting their VAT return today and they have some questions. There is nothing wrong with the system just that last quarters VAT submission had not bee updated on the system.
Otis (my lad) is preparing some more Video's for the IPS-Hub and he has worked out a better method for delivering the Videos which is much easier to navigate. We have also managed to hide some unecessary features for Full Members. Morris (my business partner) had been playing around in this area and it has nothing to do with the main purpose of the site hence the reason for the exclusions.
First sign for us of the downturn one of our customers is making 3 people redundant today which is sad as I know them all quite well.
Preparation also for the Stock take tomorrow at Deliver Net and BlueAutumn so helping them prepare their stock lists, Deliver Net are in at 5am so I don't fancy having to be at the desk that early on a Saturday morning
Back from a hard Table Tennis workout in the evening and back pretty early so then had a shower changed and headed into Watford for a little Rest and Recreation! Should have had my TwitPic email address with me then could have taken a few pictures, managed some twitter posts however!
Amazing how good rubbish food tastes after a night out, always wonder in the morning how I managed to consume that stuff, still a rarity for me going out so not too regular! First pay day of the new year and things were not as busy in town as I thought they might have been! Interestingly all the 18-21 age group seemed out in force but the late 20's and 30's were pretty thin on the ground. The credit crunch affecting those with higher monthly commitments and responsibilities.
